Rainbow Drama Club

Rainbow drama club has been running since September 2009. It has been a wonderful new project for our youngsters to have been involved in. Up to 15 young thespians enjoy a variety of activities including scenery design, acting, music making, performing and simply dressing up in costumes! Drama club acts as a social activity where friendships are made and all participants are encouraged to make choices as to what they would like to do.

As with all Snoezelen services we aim to make this club inclusive of all levels of ability and in doing so benefit from the diversity of our members.

At the end of March we are looking forward to holding ‘Rainbow Club Has Got Talent’ where Drama club members will be encouraged to display their talents. Performances will range from tributes to Queen to impersonating Frank Spencer!

Being uninhibited assists in building confidence and empowers the youngsters to realise their self worth. Running around a big hall wearing an inflatable horse and cowboy costume is admittedly, very silly, but oh so much fun!
